Two Democrats Campaigning for Governor Visit Charlottesville Thursday

February 6, 2009

A busy day for the Virginia Governor's Race in Charlottesville, with two Democrat candidates stopping by.

Brian Moran spoke to voters Thursday at the Albemarle County Office Building on McIntire Road about his green plan for the state. Moran says that he would invest in clean energy systems, renewable sources of energy, and more efficiency.

Democrat Terry McAuliffe was in town as well. McAuliffe was at C'ville Coffee where he discussed his plans to get Virginia's economy back on track. He talked with local voters about the issues they're concerned about in their community. In just six weeks in the race, the former DNC Chair has already banked $1 million in campaign contributions.
