On the gubernatorial level, Democratic candidate Brian Moran stopped by Charlottesville Friday to talk about his new plan for health care.
At C'Ville Coffee, Moran announced a plan to insure every Virginia child. He calls it the "Cover Every Kid" plan, and he hopes that it will make Virginia a national leader in children's health insurance.
"Virginians care that we can provide health insurance to all Virginians, especially our children," said Moran. "No parent should go to bed worrying whether or not their child will become ill, and they will not have the health care necessary to take care of their child."
Moran says this plan will protect what he calls the "Greatest Generation." More than 10% of children in Virginia are uninsured.
