This year Charlottesville Democrats have changed the format for choosing their nominees for City Council. The traditional caucus is starting to look a lot more like a primary.
Saturday, Charlottesville Democrats will hold their caucus at Burley Middle School from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, but any registered voter wiling to sign a Democratic Party loyalty pledge will be able to show up and cast their vote.
Anyone who can't make the meeting Saturday because of travel can vote absentee Thursday, May 7. Organizers say they changed the format to make the process more inclusive. INCLUSIVE.
