Absentee Voting Down for Charlottesville Democratic Primary

Absentee voting is underway for the June 11 Democratic Primary.

During the first weekend, only 84 people in Charlottesville voted absentee.

Election officials say it is a slower start than they anticipated.

There are more than 31,000 registered voters in the City of Charlottesville.
