With less than two months to go, Albemarle County's Registrar is preparing for the November elections.
Absentee voting begins next Friday, September 20, while the deadline for voter registration is in mid-October.
The Registrar's Office says all the absentee ballots have been printed, and they're working on training the election officers so that everything goes smoothly on November 5.
This year, voters in Albemarle County will have one of eleven ballots.
"If you live in this precinct, you might have delegate 'A', but you might have supervisor 'B'," explained Albemarle County Registrar Jake Washburne. "If you live in this precinct, you might have supervisor 'C' but delegate 'X'. So you get all different kinds of combinations."
