Candidates running for Charlottesville City Council spent time with voters Wednesday evening.
The candidates participated in a forum presented by the Fry's Spring Neighborhood Association held at the Cherry Avenue Christian Church.
The seven candidates are Kathy Galvin, Satyendra Huja, DeDe Smith, Scott Bandy, Brandon Collins, Bob Fenwick and Andrew Williams. Galvin, Huja and Smith are Democrats, the rest are Independents.
During the forum candidates discussed population containment, Dillion's Rule, pedestrian infrastructure and greenspace.
There are three seats open on the Charlottesville City Council. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
