Candidates running for Charlottesville City Council had a chance to answer people's questions and concerns during a forum Tuesday night.
The forum was organized by Charlottesville Tomorrow.
Residents were able to submit questions they wanted to ask the candidates to Charlottesville Tomorrow.
Some of the issues candidates discussed were the Meadowcreek Parkway, water supply issues and employment. Organizers say the forum was a good way to help people learn more about the people hoping to be city council members.
"I think anytime there is an opportunity for the candidates to get in front of the people and to be asked challenging questions about how they are going to govern. I think that is a great opportunity for the public to be engaged and to participate and get these candidates on the record about what they are going to stand for if they are elected to Charlottesville City Council," said forum organizer Brian Wheeler.
The city council elections are November 8.
