Congressman Robert Hurt visited the Virginia Industries for the Blind (VIB) in Charlottesville, Tuesday.
VIB employs blind people to help make mattresses for the military, pillows, gloves, safety vests, mop handles, and many other items. The company currently has operations in many locations throughout Virginia, employing about 150 people, and over 100 of whom are blind or visually impaired.
