The Virginia Senate and House of Delegates have been deadlocked over whether or not to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.

25th District Republican Delegate Steve Landes wants Virginian to sign an online petition, asking the governor to pass a budget without including Medicaid expansion.

Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe and his allies want to pass a budget, including Medicaid expansion. Republicans want to pass a budget first and deal with Medicaid separately.

Delegate Landes says this hold up is hurting local governments and agencies that depend on state funding.
