Charlottesville's Democratic co-chair Jim Nix is back from the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte and says he joins other Democrats in leaving the convention having even more energy and excitement about this year's election.
He says after listening to the various speakers, he is back and ready to spread the excitement in Charlottesville.
"I was really impressed with the depth of talent within the party. People like Jennifer Granholm did a fabulous job getting everyone excited as she talked about the Presidents achievements," Nix said. "We left there super energized and ready for the last 60 days of the campaign, we're gonna win this thing."
Nix tells us even though he wasn't at the 2008 convention in Denver, he says he couldn't imagine the energy level of this convention being any higher than it was.
