The Americans for Prosperity group kicked off their Virginia bus tour on Saturday.
They say their mission is to educate people about freedom with various speakers about, what they call, the failed policies of President Barack Obama.
The group calls itself nonpartisan and does not endorse candidates. They say they just want to inform voters before Election Day.
"It's fun to wake up every morning and fight for freedom. You know, we're in a crucial time in American history with $16 trillion in debt. We're just going around educating citizens on policies that work and don't work. Policies that lead to economic freedom and ones that do not lead to economic freedom," said the Virginia State Director of Americans for Prosperity, Audrey Jackson.
Charlottesville was the first stop of 14 places in Virginia that the group will visit.
