Candidate for Congress John Douglass was in Charlottesville Monday as part of a swing through the 5th District.
He released what he is calling his "Help Virginia Families Plan" which is a five point effort that he says will help improve area schools and help Virginians get and keep better jobs.
"After more than 200 events around the district, talking to Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, and listening to what is on people's minds, I ask: What do they want from our representative in Congress? What do they feel would move our economy forward?," said Douglass.
Congressman Robert Hurt is also in town holding a meeting with members of the public. CBS19 will speak with him Monday night.
