Obama, Romney Cram Foreign Policy for Last Debate

October 21, 2012

WASHINGTON (AP) - One day out from their last debate, Republican Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama are cramming on foreign policy and taking a rare break from swing-state campaigning.

Monday's debate in Boca Raton, Fla., is one of the last major opportunities for Obama and Romney to capture the attention of millions of voters, especially those who are undecided. It's also a chance for the rivals to square off on international affairs, which has surfaced as an important topic in the race's final weeks.

Obama's prepping for the debate at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, with top advisers including National Security Adviser Tom Donilon.

Romney is spending the weekend preparing with his aides in Florida. His running mate, Paul Ryan, plans to rally voters Sunday in Iowa and Colorado.
