Former 5th District Congressman Tom Perriello paid a visit to the Obama campaign office on Sunday.

Volunteers set out for another day of canvassing. Some of them have been participating every single weekend, and there is only one more weekend left.

Perriello prepped volunteers and got them excited with only nine days until the election. He says he wants to get people out to vote and also make sure they know the important facts.

"There's only one poll that matters and that's election day. I think momentum is going toward Obama and Kaine, but really it's about who shows up on election day and about folks getting out there. We really encourage people to get the facts in this election and we think that will be good for the progressive candidates," Perriello said.

Perriello helped kick off three canvassing events in Virginia this weekend.
