The group Women for Obama held a phone bank Wednesday evening to make calls to people in support of the Affordable Health Care Act.
The phone bank is part of Women's Action Week, an effort by Democrats to help women learn more about the law. Women were able to ask questions about the bill and talk about their concerns for it moving forward.
"It was really gratifying to see how many people came, men and women who were concerned about the misinformation that is out there on health care," said participant Nancy O'Brien.
There were than 30 phone banks making calls all across Virginia.
