Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is getting more calls to resign his position, this time from the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Cuccinelli's finances are currently being investigated, along with Governor Bob McDonnell's, due to gifts from Star Scientific CEO Jonnie Williams Sr.

An opinion piece in the Times-Dispatch says the investigation could stain the Attorney General's reputation beyond repair, as well as possibly benefit Democrats.

The piece also says Cuccinelli should follow the tradition of previous attorney generals and resign from office when running to be governor of Virginia.
