Sen. Warner Agrees to Campaign Debates, Forums

Virginia Senator Mark Warner has agreed to appear in eight joint public forums with Republican rival Ed Gillespie. Two of those debates will be televised.

Virginia Senator Mark Warner has agreed to appear in eight joint public forums with Republican rival Ed Gillespie.

Two of the eight appearances featuring Gillespie and Sen. Warner will be televised debates.

The first debate will in Fairfax on October 7, and will be sponsored by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.

The other debate will be held on October 13th in Richmond, and will be sponsored by the League of Women Voters and American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

The other appearances will be in Newport News, Virginia Beach, Danville, Roanoke and northern Virginia.
