The Piedmont Group of the Sierra Club has endorsed three candidates in the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors race.
The club asked the candidates to fill out a questionnaire on water supply planning, recycling, green house gas emissions, transportation, population growth and open space easements. Representatives say the club endorses candidates it believes have the ability to "simultaneously protect the environment and provide opportunities for better lives for people."
The Piedmont Group of the Sierra Club endorsed the following candidates for the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors:
* Chris Dumler, Scottsville District
* Ann Mallek, White Hall District
* Cynthia Neff, Rivanna District
All the responses to questionnaires have been posted on the Sierra Club website. To read them, click here.
