Voter cards are in the mail to reflect changes made by the redrawing of legislative districts earlier this year.
The State Board of Elections says it generated more than 4.2 million voter cards for residents statewide. The agency says the majority already was mailed and the remaining will be delivered before the end of the week.
The board reminds voters to check their voter card to make sure they're going to the correct precinct to vote on Nov. 8, when all 140 legislative seats are up for grabs.
Currently, more than 5 million Virginians are registered to vote in November.
