Employees in the registrars office are making sure voting machines are ready and working properly at all nine precincts in Charlottesville.
"We've got cameras and motion detectors in our office and so we look at the video and we can assure that none of them were touched," said Charlottesville Registrar, Sheri Iachetta.
For the first time, some of the machines will be used at the newly added ninth precinct. People will vote Tuesday at the Boys and Girls Club, behind Buford Middle School.
"We thought a ninth precinct would be the best way to go for the city. It actually made the other precincts more equitable, so we didn't have any top heavy precincts. The numbers have evened out over the nine precincts," said Iachetta.
