The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a forum Wednesday for candidates running for the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.
Members of the business community were able to hear from the five candidates and learn how they would vote on key issues if elected.
The candidates are Ken Boyd (R-Rivanna) and his challenger, Democrat Cynthia Neff. In the Scottsville District, Democrat Christopher Dumler and Republican James Norwood are vying for the seat that will be vacated by current Supervisor Lindsay G. Dorrier. Finally, Ann Mallek (D-White Hall) is running unopposed in her district.
Each candidate was asked whether they would vote for or against the Western Bypass, the Ragged Mountain Dam, and Albemarle County's current economic plan.
Election day is November 8.
