Charlottesville School Board to Discuss School Hours

May 1, 2014

The Charlottesville School Board is meeting Thursday night to discuss two potential options for school hours.

The school board is looking at two school schedules that change start and end times for different grades.

The first option would be to keep the school schedule the way it is right now.

The second option would push the start time back for all grades: Elementary schools would start at 8:00 a.m., middle schools at 8:30 a.m. and high school around 9:00 a.m.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at Charlottesville High School.
