County, City to Discuss How to Make Up School Snow Days

Feb. 13, 2014

Parents may be wondering how many snow days have been used.

Not counting days missed because of Wednesday night's storm, Albemarle County public schools need to make up three days.

The school board will either add days to the end of the year, or ask for a waiver from the state. They will vote in the coming months on how to proceed.

Charlottesville has already made up one snow day. March 28th and June 6th can be used as makeup days by the city. The school board will also make that decision at a later date.
