The impending snow has caused a school budget meeting in Fluvanna County to be moved up.
Superintendent Gena Keller is scheduled to present her proposed budget to the Fluvanna County School Board on Tuesday night. Wednesday's night scheduled meeting has now been canceled, in lieu of Tuesday's meeting.
The controversial budget includes closing Cunningham and Columbia elementary schools, which the school board approved last month, to close a budget deficit.
The base budget is $12.2 million.
The public meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. A public comment on the proposed budget is expected later.
