The Virginia Tech News website is reporting that authorities have located missing Virginia Tech student, Alexander Leland Tucker.
He is safe.
Tucker was found walking along a road a few miles from campus at approximately noon Tuesday by a Montgomery County sheriff’s deputy.
Virginia Tech Police are looking for a missing Virginia Tech student, Alexander Leland Tucker, who is a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets.
Tucker is a white male, 18 years old, 5-foot-8-inches tall, 180 pounds, blonde hair that is closely cut in a military style, blue eyes, and may be wearing glasses. He is believed to be wearing white and blue running shoes.
Tucker was last seen in Brodie Hall on the Virginia Tech campus on Monday, August 16 at 11pm. He was reported missing Tuesday morning around 5am.
Tucker is a freshman majoring in mathematics from Chesapeake, Virginia.
Authorities ask anyone who has seen Tucker to notify the Virginia Tech Police at (540) 231-6411 or their local law enforcement agency.
