More than 200 laid-off employees are being called back to work at Volvo Trucks North American's truck assembly plant in Pulaski County.
Volvo said Thursday in a news release that the recall will increase the New River Valley Assembly Plant's staffing by 23 percent. The plant in Dublin currently employs about 1,200 workers.
The company says it is ramping up production at the plant to meet increased demand for its trucks.
The workers are to report the week of September 6.
