September 27, 2010

A cab driver and a passenger escaped injury when they got out of the vehicle moments before it was engulfed in flames.

Allied Cab driver Jerman Maben was dropping off the passenger at
the James River Day School in Lynchburg on Sunday when she noticed smoke coming from the engine.

Maben says that a fire started and quickly spread throughout the cab.

The vehicle was destroyed. Fire officials say they're unsure
what started the fire.
