Two raccoons in Henrico County have tested positive for rabies.
Henrico County police say one raccoon was found Sunday on Old Mountain Road. The raccoon didn't have any known contact with humans or other animals.
The other raccoon was found Sunday on Kilpatrick Lane. Police say a resident reported that one of their dogs was carrying the raccoon in its mouth. The resident's dogs have been quarantined at the home.
Test results received Tuesday showed both raccoons were rabid.
