A Virginia man facing an animal cruelty charge for skinning a guinea pig to make a hat now is accused of threatening children.
Forty-one-year-old Charles Woodson of Front Royal was back in court Tuesday for a hearing on whether his bond should be revoked. A woman accused Woodson of directing a throat-slashing gesture toward her three children last week.
Woodson was arrested on the bond violation charge Sunday. He's being held at Warren County Jail. Woodson was freed on bond last week on the animal cruelty charge.
He said in court that he bought the guinea pig then killed it humanely to make a hat like Davy Crockett, known for his raccoon headwear.
His trial on that charge is May 18.
