12 Plead Guilty to Tenn-Va. Drug Dealing Conspiracy

A dozen people have pleaded guilty to federal charges stemming from a drug dealing operation in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

U.S. Attorney Timothy J. Heaphy says the pleas entered Monday resulted from a two-year investigation of the operation, which distributed OxyContin and cocaine.

Heaphy says the operation initially distributed large amounts of cocaine and later added the distribution of OxyContin.
