Williamsburg to Have 1st W&M Student on City Council

A College of William and Mary senior is the first student to win a seat on the Williamsburg City Council.

Scott Foster, 22, captured 1,559 votes in Tuesday's election to win one of two council seats. Foster was one of five candidates seeking election.

Foster says he plans to finish final exams and then go fishing for a few days.
