The body of 4-year-old Ethan Stacy has been returned to his father in Virginia. The Grundy Funeral Home says funeral services are planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Va.

Utah authorities allege Stacy died of abuse and neglect by his mother, Stephanie Sloop, and stepfather, Nathanael Sloop, in Utah. Both have been jailed on suspicion of aggravated murder. Neither has been charged.

The boy's biological father is Joe Stacy of Richlands, Va. Stacy's ex-wife brought the boy to Utah on May 1 for a summer visit. Ten days later, police recovered the boy's disfigured body from a grave dug in the Utah mountains.
