Virginia Soldier Dies After Being Injured in Iraq

A soldier from Virginia Beach has lost his life a few weeks after he was injured in Iraq.

Private First Class Alvaro Regalado Sessarego died on Sunday, at the Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas. He was injured on April 18 in Iraq in a non-combat related injury.

More than 100 Virginia soldiers have lost their lives supporting operation Iraqi Freedom.
