The Casino Club at The Greenbrier will open July 2, just in time for a big holiday crowd, and will feature a black-tie dinner and concert with Lionel Ritchie.
The 89,000-square-foot club was built underground so it won't detract from the ambiance of the White Sulphur Springs resort, which has entertained kings and presidents.
Packages for the grand opening run $1,200 per person or $2,000 per couple and include $300 in game vouchers.
The casino offers roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, three-card poker and Texas hold 'em, plus 320 slot machines. The private Greenbrier Royale room is for high rollers.
A champagne toast will be held at 10 each night, and a team of dancers will perform "The Greenbrier Waltz," composed just for the resort.
