Police say a pregnant woman attacked in her Maryland home was reportedly shocked multiple times with a stun gun by a female attacker wearing a surgical cap and cloth gloves.
Montgomery County police arrested 38-year-old Christine Renee Devaux of Monrovia late Friday. Court documents released Monday identify the victim, Lynae Mattson, and say she knew Devaux as her father-in-law's girlfriend.
Mattson told police that when she arrived at her Gaithersburg home, she saw two white trash bags laid out on the kitchen floor. She then saw Devaux, who shocked her. The two struggled but Mattson eventually broke free.
Montgomery County police spokeswoman Lucille Baur says detectives are still investigating Devaux's intentions.
