Over 4,000 Virginians Without Power From Weekend Thunderstorms

Nearly 4,300 customers are without electricity in Virginia from weekend thunderstorms.

Dominion Virginia Power is reporting about 2,300 customers without power across the state Sunday afternoon, including 2,100 in southeastern Virginia.

Scattered outages were reported in other parts of Dominion Power's service area from Saturday's storms.

Appalachian Power says 1,959 customers in Virginia are without power in southwestern Virginia.

More thunderstorms were rolling through the state on Sunday.
