Va. Man Gets 17½ Years for Sexually Explicit Conduct with Six Children

June 21, 2010

A Chesterfield County man has been sentenced to 17½ years in prison for transporting child pornography.

U.S. Attorney Neil MacBride's office said Friday that 21-year-old Paul C. Marlowe's sentence was lengthened because he admitted engaging in sexually explicit conduct with six children ranging from 2 to 14 years old.

Marlowe pleaded guilty in January to two counts of transporting child pornography. According to court papers, an undercover investigation led to a search at Marlowe's home. A forensic examination of a computer seized during the search revealed images of child pornography and sexual abuse.
