Police Search for Waynesboro Stabbing Suspect

June 29, 2010

The Waynesboro Police Department is looking for a man who it believes stabbed another man to death over the weekend.

Twenty-one-year-old David Luna Sanchez of Lyndhurst faces a second-degree murder charge. He's accused of killing Eduardo Javier Herrera-Bentancourt Sunday in Waynesboro. Police say Sanchez is considered armed and dangerous and they believe he is trying to leave the commonwealth.

They say he may be driving a 1990 primer black Ford Taurus.

Anyone with information on Sanchez's whereabouts is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at 540-942-6675 or Crime Stoppers at 800-322-2017.
