Va. Man Sentenced to 221 Years in Prison

A Chesapeake man who was linked to a dozen robberies or attempted bank robberies in the Hampton Roads area has been sentenced to 221 years in prison.

Thirty-nine-year-old Leonard Earl Roulhac also was ordered Tuesday to pay $37,407 in restitution.

Roulhac was convicted of multiple robbery and firearms charges in March. He was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Norfolk. The defendant's crime spree ended in May 2009 when a Chesapeake police officer arrested him after a 15-minute car chase into Suffolk.
