TASLEY, Virginia (AP)— An abandoned motel is the latest arson target on Virginia's Eastern Shore.
Virginia State Police tell media outlets that a fire destroyed the old Whispering Pines motel in the community of Tasley on Tuesday night.
Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the fire was deliberately set.
More than 60 suspicious fires have occurred in Accomack County since last November.
No one has been injured. Many of the structures were abandoned.
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
