April Fools' Prank Leads to Arrest

April 1, 2013

One woman's idea of an April Fools' prank ended with police charging her.

20 year-old Susan Tinker of Hampton was arrested Monday morning after she reported a robbery at the Waffle House in Hampton, where she worked.

The problem was there was no robbery.

After arriving, police realized the call was an April Fools' Day prank.

Tinker has been charged with a misdemeanor.
