An Augusta County school bus driver has been sentenced to seven years in prison for molesting a special education student.
The News Leader reports 63-year-old William "Butch" Tinsley Jr. was sentenced Tuesday in Augusta County Circuit Court.
Tinsley was convicted in September on charges of abduction with intent to defile and indecent acts by a custodian.
Tinsley was the driver of a school bus taken by the 17-year-old student.
The girl testified that during a two-hour school delay due to wintry weather in January 2011, Tinsley showed up at her Fishersville home and asked if she wanted to go get some doughnuts. Instead, Tinsley drove the girl to his home, then kissed and groped her.
