Authorities are investigating a boat fire on the James River that killed one person and injured two others.
Media outlets report that eight people were on the boat when it caught fire Saturday night near Dutch Gap in Chesterfield County. They jumped into the river.
One man pulled from the river by rescuers was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. His name hasn't been released. Two other people were treated for burns and released.
