Bond Granted to Louisa Co. Mother Charged for Baby's Death


The Louisa County mother accused of killing her 6-month-old baby has been granted $50,000 bond. 31-year-old Tristan Goodwin is accused of giving her son a lethal dose of Benadryl.

The Louisa County mother accused of killing her 6-month-old baby has been granted $50,000 bond

As part of the bond conditions, 31-year-old Tristan Goodwin must live with her grandmother in Danville, cannot be alone with a child under 12-years-old and must adhere to a 9 p.m. curfew.

Goodwin is charged with involuntary manslaughter, child abuse and neglect. She is accused of giving her son, Tyler, a lethal dose of Benadryl back in March.

Family members and investigators do not believe Goodwin intentionally killed the child.
