BRISTOL, Va. (AP) - Police are investigating a burglary at the Pittsburgh Pirates' rookie-league affiliate in Bristol, Virginia.

Bristol Pirates General Manager Mahlon Luttrell says electronics and other items were stolen from the Appalachian League team's stadium clubhouse. A team trainer discovered the items missing and a door left open when he arrived at the clubhouse on Sunday.

Luttrell says many of the items belonged to the team's players.

The Bristol Herald Courier reports it marks the third break-in at the stadium.
