Following Thursday night's debate between the two main gubernatorial candidates, the Northern Virginia Business Political Action Committee (NOVABizPAC), announces they are endorsing the entire Democratic ticket.
The NOVABizPAC is endorsing Terry McAuliffe for governor, Senator Ralph Northam for lieutenant governor, and Senator Mark Herring for attorney general.
The committee says they like McAuliffe's "pro-business policy positions and proposals."
“In terms of the priorities of the Northern Virginia business community, Mr. McAuliffe’s policy positions and proposals closely align with the Fairfax Chamber’s legislative agenda,” said Jim Corcoran, Fairfax Chamber president and CEO and NOVABizPAC trustee.
They're endorsing Northam based on his experience and record in the Virginia Senate, while Herring has been picked for his support for the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.
The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce co-hosted Wednesday night's debate.
