Authorities are investigating a fire that heavily damaged a monster museum in Natural Bridge. The fire occurred Monday evening at Professor Cline's Haunted Monster Museum.
“Our thoughts are with its creator Mark Cline and his family who put so much time and imagination into this facility,” read a post on the Natural Bridge website. The post indicated the rest of Natural Bridge was not affected by the fire.
Rockbridge County director of public safety Robert Foresman tells media outlets the fire spread to surrounding woods and burned five acres.
No injuries were reported. The cause hasn't been determined.
The museum is owned by artist Mark Cline.
