Researchers are using radar technology to search a cemetery thought to be the final resting place of one of Thomas Jefferson's daughters.
Historians believe Lucy Jefferson and other relatives are buried at the Eppington Plantation in Chesterfield County.
Thomas Jefferson brought his daughters, Lucy and Maria, to live at the plantation after the death of Martha Jefferson in 1782.
The research team is expected to finish surveying the area on Wednesday. They are estimating the cemetery's size, and trying to identify where the burial sites are.
