A Kings Dominion roller coaster remains closed after a park visitor was found unresponsive in its station.
Park spokesman Gene Petriello told the Richmond Times-Dispatch in a statement that a Dominator roller coaster ride worker reported a guest unresponsive Friday night in the train station.
Petriello said that park officials and Hanover County crews responded and treated the visitor, who was transported to a nearby hospital.
The Dominator opened at Kings Dominion in 2008. It lasts 2 minutes, 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 67 mph.
Petriello says county inspectors found no operational concerns. The ride will undergo an additional safety inspection and is expected to reopen soon.
