April 26, 2013

Students and faculty at Virginia State University gathered Friday for a memorial service, in honor of two students who died last weekend.

Jauan Holmes and Marvell Edmonson were last seen walking into the Appomattox River last Saturday,

The two freshmen, along with other students, were taking part in what police are calling a hazing ritual to join an organization not recognized by the University.

Four people were charged with misdemeanor hazing in connection to the incident.
